If you want to close your account, you'll need to get in touch with Customer Service who will then close your account for you.
We allow one customer to have one account. Closing your account means you will not be permitted to open a new one at a later date. If you've closed an account in the past and wish to re-open it, please let us know.
We also offer a number of options for closure if you feel you need a break from betting. You can self exclude from Betfair - for either a minimum of six months, one year, three years or five years, or permanently. We've also got various options including limits and time-out's. Our self-exclusion facility now covers both Paddy Power and Betfair brands. From 30/12/2016, if you self-exclude from one brand, we will endeavour to prevent you accessing your account within your selected self-exclusion timeframe across both brands. If you have had an account closed on either brand and it may contain a balance, please contact the relevant Customer Service team
Please be aware that if you apply any player protection tool to your Betfair account it will not automatically apply to your Paddy Power account. If you wish to set a player protection tool you can do so via your Paddy Power account online or alternatively, Customer Services Services can set this for you.
