What are Second Chance Tokens?
Second Chance tokens are a feature that can be used on Multis, Accas and Bet Builders across all sports. They can also be used on Horse Racing Singles.
Second Chance Multi tokens can be used on any sport. If one leg of your acca loses, you will receive your stake back as a Free Bet (maximum refund may vary). Minimum leg requirement varies.
Second Chance Single tokens are available on Horse Racing only. If your selected horse finishes 2nd, 3rd, or another qualifying position, you may receive your stake back. The positions eligible for Second Chance tokens will depend on the specific race.
Choose your selections and apply the token in your bet slip for the chance to get your stake back as a Free Bet if your selection lets you down.
How do I get a Second Chance Token?
You can see when you have a token available through banners on site, in ''Active Free Bets'' on iOS, or 'View Bonuses Details' on web & android. You will also receive pop-up notifications.
You can find your up-to-date token balance in the 'My wallet' section as well as descriptions of these tokens in the 'My Bonuses' section.
What can Second Chance Tokens be used on?
The details on what the tokens can be used on will be available in the "Active Free Bets"/ "View Bonuses Details" section of the app.
Some Second Chance Tokens can be used on any event, while others may be linked to a specific sport or event. The full details of where the reward can be used will be shown in the ‘View Bonus Details’ section.
Second Chance Tokens are on Bet Builders, Accas, Multis and Horse Racing Singles only.
How do I use a Second Chance Token?
To use the Second Chance token, simply add eligible selections to the betslip and then a Present Box will be displayed next to it.
Click the Present Box and the eligible second chance tokens will be available for selection.
After applying the token, you will see a confirmation message appear in the bet slip under your selection - you must then place your bet.
If horse finishes 2nd, 3rd or or another qualifying position, you will receive your stake back as a Free Bet (up to your eligible amount).
I'm having trouble using my Second Chance token, why is it not appearing on my betslip?
If you are having problems using your token, make sure to double check the terms & conditions of the token in the "Active Free Bets" / "View Bonuses Details" section of the app. Firstly, check if it's a second chance token to be used on multis/accas/bet builders only.
If you trying to use a Second Chance multis token it may have a minimum leg requirement or be linked to a specific sport or event.
Do the Tokens expire?
Each Second Chance token will have an expiry time associated with it. This will be made clear in any pop-up notifications and other communications associated with the token.
This information can also be found in the "Active Free Bets"/ "View Bonuses Details" section of the app.
Can Second Chance Tokens be used with Safe Sub?
Second Chance tokens can be used in conjunction with Safe Sub eligible bets.
Can I use the Second Chance Token with another offer?
Second Chance tokens cannot be used in conjunction with a free bet and therefore only applies to stakes made with cash only.
This also applies to Bet Boosts, and they cannot be combined with other Second Chance tokens on the same bet.
Bets placed using a Second Chance token will not qualify for other promotions.
Where can I find my Second Chance Token?
Your token balance will be displayed in the 'cash & bonus balance' section when logged in your account. Additional details on the tokens in your account can be found in the ''Active Free Bets'' / "View Bonuses Details" section of the app.
What happens if I end up backing a Non-Runner?
If you placed a bet using a Second Chance singles and that horse becomes a non-runner, the token will be returned to your account to use on another selection once the bet is voided.
What happens in the event of a Dead Heat?
Dead heat rules apply. For example, in the event of a Dead Heat in a race where the Horse Racing Second Chance token gave you your stake back as a Free Bet if your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd:
- Dead heat for First Place - refunds will only apply to the 3rd placed horse
- Dead heat for Second Place - refunds will only apply to the two 2nd placed horses
- Dead heat for Third Place - refunds will apply to the 2nd placed and both 3rd placed horses
What happens if I cash out my bet?
If you cash out or partially cash out your bet placed with a Second Chance token, the token will not be returned or refunded.
What happens to my bet if I have used a Token and the result is an amended result?
In the event of an amended result, crediting of free bets will only take place after the result of the event is confirmed.
