How do I complete the Identity Verification Process (KYC) in the UK?

In order for us to comply with legal requirements it is necessary to verify personal details submitted to us upon registration of Betfair accounts.


We will attempt to electronically verify your account where possible. If we are unable to verify you we may ask you to send us a photocopy or scan of one document from each of the categories listed below:

One Photo ID from the following list:
• Passport
• Driving Licence
• National Identification Card (photographic)

 

One of the following:
• Utility Bill (less than 6 months old)
• Copy of Bank Statement - (less than 6 months old)

 

You can send these documents via one of the following methods:

Log in to your account. All you need is one Photo ID from the following list: Passport, Driving Licence, National ID Card.

 

Select "My Betfair Account" from the "My Account" drop down. You can find it at the top of each page.

 

Click on "Confirm your identity" to confirm you are of age. You will be guided step by step through the process!

If you were unable to upload your document to our secure online documents portal, you can send a scan in JPG/JPEG, PNG or PDF file formats to KYC@betfair.com (maximum size of 5MB). Please include your username in the subject of your e-mail.
