Country closure FAQs*

1. Why is your site no longer accessible from where my account is registered?
We can no longer offer our product to customers from the country of residence as referenced within the corresponding e-mail.

2. I don't live in this country anymore; will I be able to continue using the site?
If your country of residence is no longer accurately reflected, you will have to register a new account reflecting your new address and Country of Residence. All accounts that have their Country of Residence set as the one in the corresponding e-mail, will be automatically closed from 10th August 2020.

3. I have sent money to my Betfair account via bank transfer and it will not credit before the 10th August 2020 what will happen to my money?
All customers no longer able to access their account to withdraw funds will be required to contact customer services to retrieve funds.

4. Can I withdraw my balance?
Yes. All customers with funds remaining in their account are asked to withdraw their balances by the 10th of August 2020. Failure to do so may significantly delay the duration until funds can be returned. All customers no longer able to access their account to withdraw funds will be required to contact customer services to retrieve their outstanding funds.

5. How can I withdraw my funds?
Funds can be withdrawn through the usual methods until the 10th August 2020. If funds have not been withdrawn after this date please contact customer services to return all outstanding funds.

6. Can I trade on markets where I have open positions?
From 10th August 2020 all access to the Betfair site will be blocked and no trading or betting will be possible. We encourage all customers to cash/trade out of any open positions or matched bets and remove all unmatched bets from the exchange before the cut off. In the event a bet or trade settles after 10th August 2020, winnings will credit the customer's account and the customer will be required to contact customer services to retrieve their funds.

7. I currently have matched and unmatched bets on the Exchange, what will happen to those?
From 10th August 2020 all access to the Betfair Exchange will be blocked and no trading or betting will be possible. We encourage all customers to cash/trade out of any open positions and remove all unmatched bets from the exchange before the cut off.

8. What will happen to the bets I have already placed on the Sportsbook and Exchange?
In the event a bet or trade settles after 10th August 2020, winnings will credit the customer's account and the customer will be required to contact customer services to retrieve their funds.

9. What will happen to my free bets/bonuses I have not yet used?
All free bets/bonuses not used by 10th August 2020 will expire and be unable to be utilized.

10. Can I still withdraw my funds after 10th August 2020? If so, how do I do this?
Funds can be withdrawn through the usual methods until the 10th August 2020. If funds have not been withdrawn after this date please contact customer services to return all outstanding funds.

11. What happens if I do not withdraw my funds before 10th August 2020?
You will need to contact customer services to retrieve your funds.

12. What can I do with my Games balances?
Customers with balances in their Games Account are kindly asked to transfer funds to the main wallet by 8th August 2020 to ensure funds within the Games wallet can be withdrawn before the 10th August 2020.
