My Betfair Rewards FAQ

How do I locate them?

You can choose your package in the 'My Betfair Rewards' section of My Account.

The details of each package are laid out on the page so you can compare the different bonuses, commission and rewards available. Once you make a selection, your account will immediately start wagering toward your monthly goal.

When will they become available?

If you bet in the minimum required markets during a month, you will receive bonuses credited to your account on the first day of the next month. The bonuses should be available by noon.

How do I know my progress?

There is a progress bar in the My Betfair Rewards section of My Account. This updates every time a market settles.

Do Sportsbook markets count?

Currently, Sportsbook markets do not count toward your progress bar.

Will they affect my commission rates?

Betfair points will continue to accrue in your account when you bet on Betfair Exchange. However, these points will not affect your commission rate, except for events base in Australia.

What happens if I do not choose a package?

If you do not choose a package, you will eventually be opted into the “Rewards” package.

Can I change my package anywhere?

Yes. Customers can change their package in the MBR landing page. Go to My Account, click through to MBRs & click on the blue link in the top right-hand corner of your plan summary table.

What happens if I change my package after hitting the target?

If a customer has already hit the minimum bet requirement, then changes package, they will be entitled to receive the benefits of the package they were in when the target was hit.

The customer will start wagering towards the benefits of the new package from the start of the next new month. If a customer requests an immediate change to their package then they will forfeit any benefit entitled accrued under the previous packages.

What happens for events based in Australia?

Events based in Australia will continue to be charged commission in the old way (using Betfair points and a market base rate. More information can be found in our Terms and Conditions here.
