What is a phased tournament?

A phased tournament is played in multiple stages that combine into a final phase.

You can choose different starting phases that run at different times.

All remaining players from earlier phases join together in the final stage. 

How do phased tournaments work?

Each phase runs for a set number of blind levels.

Players who remain at the end of a phase carry their chip stack into the next phase.

Example:

• Phase 1A: Friday at 12:00
• Phase 1B: Saturday at 12:00
• Phase 2: Sunday at 12:00

Players who qualify from Phase 1A and 1B join Phase 2 to complete the tournament.

Can I enter multiple Phase 1 tournaments?

Yes, but only until you qualify.

• You can re-enter Phase 1 if you are eliminated
• Once you qualify for the next phase, you cannot enter another Phase 1 for the same event
• Any chip stack that qualifies will move forward

Do I need to be available for later phases?

Yes. You must be available to play in future phases when you enter a phased tournament.

You can't unregister from Phase 2 or later phases.
